From the U.S.and Canada, direct flights to Huatulco are available: via Houston on United, from St. Louis on Frontier, and from several Canadian cities including Vancouver and Calgary. It is also possible to fly through Mexico City to Puerto Escondido or Huatulco.
From inside Mexico, daily flights from Mexico City and other Mexican cities, including Oaxaca City, year round to both Huatulco and Puerto Escondido.
Puerto Escondido International Airport (located just west of town on Highway 200) is served from Mexico City by Interjet, Aeromar, Vivaaerobus and Magni Charters.
Huatulco International Airport, approximately one hour drive (from the south) is served by Interjet, United through Houston, Magni Charters, Aeromar, and Frontier Airlines. Daily international flights from Houston and Canadian cities between October and May.
From Europe, direct night flights to Mexico City can be found on Air France from Paris allowing you to make the connection with a flight for Puerto Escondido or Huatulco without spending the night in Mexico City. Iberia also offers a direct night flight allowing the correspondence departing from Madrid. Other direct flights from large European cities are available (Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, etc.) If travelling from one of these cities, you will have to spend a night in Mexico City. The following morning, a direct flight to Puerto Escondido or Huatulco can be taken.
Transfers from Puerto Escondido Airport to Amalys are included in the stay and transfers from Huatulco Airport are included for groups of 6 or more. Taxis are available at both airports.
Rental cars: If you are planning on renting a car for your stay, it is best to fly into Huatulco where you can book a rental car directly through Hertz.com or bestday.com.mx. it is possible to rent a car in Puerto Escondido through a local company.
